Family
This is my family: I have one older sister, Meghan, who is
attending graduate school at UC Santa Barbara. Her and I very close and always have been. My parents met at Sac State where my dad also
studied journalism. He now works for the company AmeriPride driving a truck and delivering towels
and uniforms to businesses. My mom is an accountant with the State Teacher's Retirement System. Since we are such a close-knit family, having both me and my sister in different cities has been pretty hard on my parents, but we all keep in contact by talking on the phone at least once a week and I try to visit home once a month or at the very least every other month. That is why I chose Chico State; because there is enough distance to gain independence but it is not so far away from my family that I cannot visit frequently.
