Hydrogen:

      Hydrogen has great potential as an alternative fuel source, however the research is not quite there to make it a solution to our problem. Currently the efficiency of Hydrogen Vehicles is much less than that of an electric car, regardless of the extreme price they currently cost to create, much more research is needed before this can be a practicle alternative.

There are two main types of hydrogen vehicles:

      Internal Combustion Vehicles: Much like a regular gas powered engine, this type of vehicle is powered by combusting hydrogen inside of an engine to move the pistons, and thus move the car. more

      Fuel Cell Vehicles: This technology is a very different approach to the Internal Combustion method. It is actually used as a way of creating electricity that in turn would power the vehicle. more
