Coach Dempsey brings thirty-four years of coaching experience to the California Chaos program. His coaching experience includes: Little League, boys and girls ( ages 9-16 ) and American Legion baseball recreational programs. His twenty-seven years of high school coaching includes tenures in the following areas: football, basketball, baseball, and softball.
Coach Dempsey was one of the primary forces behind the formations of American Legion baseball programs in both the areas of Willows and Yuba City.
During the summer of 2000, Pat Dempsey, along with fellow charter members: Nash Crisosto and Jerry Norene, formed and established the California Chaos program. Currently, Pat Dempsey holds the position of Program Director on the nine member Chaos Board of Directors.
Coach Dempsey was the manager of the initial Chaos 14under team for the fall 2000 and summer 2001 seasons. In the fall of 2001, he managed the initial Chaos 16under team. During the summer of 2002, coach Dempsey managed the initial Chaos 18under team. With the 18under team idle during the fall 2002 season, coach Dempsey managed the Chaos 16under team. During this time, Pat Dempsey has had the pleasure and privilege of working with several outstanding young ladies which included both his daughter, Chantee, and niece, Megan Dempsey.
Pat Dempsey, Nash Crisosto, Raoul Singh, and Jerry Norene work very closely together to locate potential talent, inform interested athletes about the California Chaos program, coordinate practices, and to instruct all playing members of the Chaos program.
