Rachel Teasdale

I am a physical volcanologist and igneous petrologist here at CSU Chico. My research focuses on the emplacement of basaltic lava flows and their compositional variations. My work has a strong emphasis on fieldwork. I also teach several courses, including Mineralogy and Lithology (GEOS 306), introductory geology courses, some courses taught in the field (GEOS 360 and 310) and supervise a variety of student research projects.
